David Beckham mortifies our beloved Victoria on her birthday

So, the gorgeous and incredibly talented Victoria Beckham turned 41-years-old yesterday and how did her doting husband pay tribute to his wife of almost twenty years?

He mortified her beyond all belief, that's how!

Taking to Facebook to wish the mother of his four children a happy birthday, the mischievous David decided to include a throwback shot in with his greeting.

Posting what could only be a photo from the early noughties, David forced the public to remember a time when the highly-acclaimed designer wasn't quite so style-savvy.

Sporting matching bleach blonde cropped hairstyles, Victoria and David gazed into one anothers eyes and and looked for all the world like a couple of cave people.

If that was the purpose of the shot, then kudos! You guys nailed it! If not, then thank God for the gift of time, wisdom and expert help.

We don't think Victoria wil have paid too much attention to her husband's cheeky greeting if her own online contibution was anything to go by!

Taking to her own social media pages, Victoria gushed over the present gifted to her by her four kids.

Posting a shot of a gold trophy which boasts the title 'Mother of the Year', the former Spice Girl exclaimed: "Best present! From my boys and Harper."
