David Beckham joins Instagram with sexy selfie

It seems that David Beckham has caught the Instagram bug.

The world-famous footballer has finally answered his fans’ prayers by setting up an account on the photo-blogging website.

Given how he is celebrating a milestone today – his 40^th birthday – it looks as though he picked the perfect time to jump on the social media bandwagon.

We have a feeling that the reaction to his recent video-bombing of son Brooklyn, in which he boasted of his impressive Twitter following, may have had something to do with it, though!

Fans are no doubt doubly excited with the news as, not only will it offer a behind-the-scenes insight into David’s life, but he decided to treat his already one-million-strong following with a sexy bed selfie.

The star went on to share two more pictures, of his early birthday celebrations in Marrakech.
