Carey Mulligan stars in a romantic film with a difference

If you're looking for an empowering female film next time you head to the cinema, you can't go too wrong with Carey Mulligan's latest flick.

Far From The Madding Crowd stars Carey as the headstrong, independent Bathsheba who attracts  three very different love interests – sheep farmer Gabriel Oak (Matthias Schoenaerts), the charming but reckless Frank Troy (Tom Sturridge), and the steady and prosperous William Boldwood (Michael Sheen).

This story of passion and love is based on Thomas Hardy's 1874 literary classic, but it is truly a timeless tale.
