Adele celebrates 10th Grammy win from a very unlikely place

by

Superstar Adele won her 10th Grammy last night as her James Bond song Skyfall scooped Best Song Written for Visual Media.

Unfortunately, the Someone Like You hitmaker couldn’t grace the red carpet and instead tweeted her thanks from the comfort of her bed.

She wrote: ‘Wish I was there! Thank you for the grammy! (My 10th one! Whhaaa?) Have a wonderful night. I’m in bed, now feeling very restless x.’

Adele certainly had to fight for her award as she was up against Lana Del Rey with Young and Beautiful from The Great Gatsby and Coldplay’s Atlas from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Fortunately, the star is already a pro at receiving awards for her 007 single – she won a Golden Globes and an Oscar for the hit single last year.

The reason for her absence is unknown; however, with music plans in the pipe line, we’re pretty sure the 25-year-old singer will have plenty of opportunities to attend the Grammys again.
